Dearness allowance was stopped in the epidemic
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had issued a statement a few days ago and informed that due to the spread of corona epidemic in the country, dearness allowance of these employees was stopped, so that the government could help the poor and needy with that money.

There was no cut in DA and salary for the whole year
Sitharaman further said that during the pandemic, the salaries of government ministers, MPs were also cut. Along with this, no deduction was made in the salary of central employees nor was there any cut in DA. The whole year and DA and his salary were paid.

How much is the DA arrear?
If we talk about Level 1 employees, then the arrears on DA are made between Rs 11880 to Rs 37554. The same if we talk about level 13 employees, then their basic pay is made between Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900. Apart from this, if we are calculated for Level-14 (Pay-Scale), then the DA arrears in the hands of an employee will be paid from Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200.
