Rajasthan Assembly Elections: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Sunday said that the BJP is like a pack of “hungry wolves” who loot resources as soon as they form a government in the state and the corrupt state if any within the country. That is where the BJP rules. On Sunday, the Chief Minister targeted the BJP for corruption and said that as soon as it comes to power, the situation of BJP becomes like a hungry wolf. The way the condition of a hungry wolf becomes as soon as it gets food, so is the condition of the BJP.
After participating in a program organized at the state Congress headquarters, Gehlot told reporters on Sunday, ‘You see what happens when you come to power at the Center and in the state. I am not saying this, rather you talk to any industrialist. Income tax officials used to take bribe of one lakh rupees for a file, now they take 10 lakh rupees… Corruption has increased 10 times under his rule. I am not saying this, you ask anyone… I claim this.
There is loot in BJP ruled states – CM Gehlot
CM Gehlot hit back at the resolution passed against the Congress-led government in the state regarding corruption in the state BJP working committee meeting, saying, ‘Rajasthan is the state where raids are conducted, but loot is rampant in those states’ Where BJP rules… The most corrupt state, if anywhere in the country, is where BJP rules. Ask them (BJP) how much wealth they have accumulated in 30-40 years. Give its account to the residents of the state. You want to come in the kingdom, just dream this. The public will decide, whom to bring to power.
Shekhawat’s farm house in Ethiopia – CM Gehlot
CM Gehlot said, ‘We do not boast but can expose them… what you were… what you have become… how much wealth you have… we all know. The Special Force (SOG) of the Rajasthan Police has accepted Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat as an accused in the Sanjeevani scam. He asked, ‘Why doesn’t the BJP pass a resolution that the Prime Minister, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat should be removed…sack him from the cabinet as he has been proved corrupt. He has already become an accused and sooner or later when the matter will go to the court… then the decision will also come.’ He claimed that Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has big farm houses in Ethiopia.
