ANTF’s big action! 3 Nepali citizens and 5 smugglers caught with 15 kg charas


Action Against Drugs: ANTF, Crime Branch Delhi has recovered 15.670 kg of hashish worth about Rs 3 crore in the international market and arrested five drug smugglers. As part of the ongoing operation against drug smugglers in Delhi, a narco-syndicate involved in the supply of charas has been busted, resulting in the arrest of five key operatives, including three nationals of Nepal. The recovered hashish was brought from Nepal and Kasol in Himachal Pradesh, which points towards supply in many states.

According to DCP Bhisham Singh, ANTF, Crime Branch, on 20.11.2024, HC Amit, Crime Branch, ANTF, received an FIR regarding supply of charas by a Nepali national to a local drug smuggler Mohammad Jameel in Majnu Ka Tila area of ​​Delhi. Secret information was received. Acting on the information, a team of SI Amarendra Singh, ASI Yogendra, HC Amit, Mahipal, Pawan and Anuj under the leadership of Inspector Vikas Pannu and under the supervision of ACP, ANTF Rajkumar was formed to nab the criminals, following which a raid was conducted. Was done.

Two arrested in raid

In this raid, two persons Prem Thapa resident of Sector 18, Chandigarh, Post Chandigarh GP, District Chandigarh 160017, age 32 years and Mohammad Jameel resident of Near RS Public School, Nihal Vihar Delhi, age 35 years were arrested, on which on 21 November, Delhi A case was registered under FIR No. 232/2024 under Section 20/29 of the NDPS Act in the Crime Branch of NDPS.

Three drug smugglers arrested

According to DCP ANTF Crime Branch, further investigation led to the arrest of three more drug smugglers:

1. Ganga – He is involved in the supply of charas in Sangam Vihar, Wazirabad, he was caught with 712 grams of charas. Later, at his instance, 13.766 kg more hashish was recovered from the bedroom of his house.

2. Ankit Buddha alias Thackeray – He is currently living in Kasol, Himachal Pradesh. He was arrested from Kasol. He is the main supplier who used to provide charas to Prem Thapa.

3. Pradeep Kumar – He is a resident of Ballabhgarh, Haryana and used to buy charas from Prem Thapa and supply it to drug addicts of Faridabad and Ballabhgarh.
