Another bet by Kejriwal before the elections in Delhi, announcement for the elderly, know Sanjeevani scheme

Delhi Election 2025: Before the Delhi elections, Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has guaranteed health to the elderly. On Wednesday, he announced that after the Aam Aadmi Party government is formed after the elections, he will implement Sanjeevani Yojana and provide free treatment to every elderly person. Under the scheme, the government will bear the expenses of the elderly getting treatment in private or government hospitals. He said that there will be no income or socio-economic restrictions for the beneficiaries.

Kejriwal said that under the ‘Chief Minister Pilgrimage Scheme’ inspired by Shravan Kumar, till now the government has taken more than one lakh elderly people on pilgrimage. Now the responsibility of keeping every elderly person of Delhi healthy will be fulfilled. In return, blessings of all the elders are needed.

He said that Delhi government pays the expenses of pilgrimage to Rameshwaram, Shirdi, Ajmer Sharif, Ayodhya, Mathura-Vrindavan, Dwarkadhish, Rishikesh. A bus takes the elderly from their home to the railway station. The elderly are catered to in AC trains. Travel luggage is given in a bag. The Delhi government pays all the expenses for travel, accommodation, food and drink for the elderly. In return, we get the blessings of two crore people of Delhi. Prayer has no cost.

What was announced for the elderly?

Arvind Kejriwal further said at the party headquarters that diseases start creeping in with increasing age. Man’s biggest concern is treatment. I have seen elderly parents from good families suffering in old age. The elderly need not worry. His son is still alive. Arvind Kejriwal said, “I am announcing ‘Sanjeevani Yojana’ for the elderly. The elderly above 60 years of age will be given free treatment. We will pass the scheme after the assembly elections.”

He told that the elderly will be given Sanjeevani Yojana card. By passing the scheme, Kejriwal will fulfill the responsibility of keeping the elderly healthy. In return, only the blessings of the elders are needed. Chief Minister of Delhi Atishi Said on X that if you have a son then he will be like Arvind Kejriwal! First, posing as Shravan Kumar, he made more than 1 lakh elderly people of Delhi go on pilgrimage and now he has brought Sanjeevani for the elderly.

Arvind Kejriwal’s Sanjeevani scheme will provide free treatment facility to the elderly above 60 years of age in Delhi. Registration under the scheme will start in a few days. Manish Sisodia also praised Avind Kejriwal for the Sanjeevani scheme. Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said that for the first time in India, a son thought like this. Today once again Arvind Kejriwal, who is called the son of Delhi, has come up with Sanjeevani scheme for the elderly.
