MP News: Some youths targeted a Hindu temple by tying a cloth over their mouth in the Kotwali police station area of Sagar. Seeing the masked men entering the temple, nearby people reached the spot. The injured were identified as Anuj Jadiya, Babu Jadiya and Chiku. The injured were taken to the hospital for treatment. Tension spread due to the news of vandalism in a religious place. A crowd of workers of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal also gathered. They raised slogans against the police administration. The protesters allege that the youth of Jain community carried out the incident. Activists of Hindu organizations demanded the removal of Kotwali police station in-charge Naveen Jain, who was named in the FIR against the culprits. The protesters also raised slogans against Sagar MLA Shailendra Jain. The bullion market remained closed on Saturday in protest against the incident. After receiving information about the demonstration, police and administration officials reached the spot.
