Andhra Pradesh School Students Die By Suicide: In Andhra Pradesh (Andhra Pradesh), 9 students have committed suicide after failing in the intermediate examination. Intermediate first year and second year (Class 11 and 12) results were declared on Wednesday. Since Thursday, 9 students have died by suicide. And two other students attempted suicide.
Near Tekkali in Srikakulam district B. Tarun (17) ended his life by jumping in front of a moving train. The intermediate first year student, a resident of Dandu Gopalapuram village in the district, was disheartened by the failure. A 16-year-old girl hanged herself at her house in Trinadpuram under Malkapuram police station area of Visakhapatnam district. A. Akhilashree was upset after failing in some subjects in the intermediate first year.

B. Jagdish (18) ended his life by hanging himself at his residence in Kancharapalem area of Visakhapatnam. He had failed in one subject in the second year of intermediate. Anusha (17) committed suicide by jumping into a lake in Chittoor district after failing in one of the subjects in the intermediate first year examination.

Babu (17) from Chittor district also committed suicide by consuming insecticide after failing in intermediate second year. T. Kiran (17) hanged himself at his residence in Anakapalle as he was depressed over scoring low marks in the first year of intermediate. Actually, the passing percentage of first year was 61 and that of second year was 72. More than 10 lakh students had appeared in the examination held in March-April. Police and psychologists have appealed to the students to avoid taking extreme steps as they have whole life ahead of them and they can convert failure into success.
