American NSA will reach India just before PM Modi’s US tour, defense deals will be discussed

US NSA India Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a US tour next week, where he will participate in many different programs. America’s National Security Advisor is reaching India before PM Modi’s visit. American NSA Jake Sullivan will reach Delhi on June 13, where the GE-414 engine deal with India will be finalised. Here Sullivan will meet his counterpart i.e. India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. This meeting, to be held before PM Modi’s visit, is being considered very important.

Will also meet PM Modi
American NSA Jake Sullivan has pushed America’s agenda on strengthening ties with India. His attitude towards India has always been soft. During his visit, apart from NSA Ajit Doval, Sullivan will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Foreign Minister S Jaishankar. During the meeting with the American NSA, there can be a very important conversation between the two countries regarding security.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Leaving for America on 20th June. Where on June 22, he will meet with US President Joe Biden. Many important issues are to be discussed in this meeting, in which Russia-Ukraine war technology sharing will also be discussed.

Talk was made on many issues in January
Earlier in January 2023, when Indian National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval went to America, he had an important meeting regarding Indo-US bilateral cooperation. During this, Doval along with his American counterpart Jake Sullivan participated in the first high-level meeting of the Initiative for Critical and Emerging Technology (ICET). NSA Ajit Doval reached America with the Indian delegation. In this meeting of ICET, both countries had prepared a complete blueprint for quantum technology, high performing computing, jet engine technology, all the technology related to war and cooperation.

After January, both the National Security Advisors met in the last month i.e. May as well. During this, UAE’s NSA Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan was also present. The purpose of the meeting was regarding a mega project. This project included a plan to connect the Middle East with South Asia through the sea.

According to the Hindustan Times report, there will be important talks with the American NSA regarding the manufacturing of the GE-414 jet engine. During this, work can be done on sharing the entire technology of manufacturing this engine. This jet engine will be made further in collaboration with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. The Tejas Mark-II fighter jets made in India will get great power from the GE-414 engine. Which is very important for the Indian Air Force. It has been told in the report that the growing challenge of China in the Indo-Pacific region can also be discussed between Sullivan and Doval.
