Allahabad High Court gives relief to Ajay Rai, ban on harassing action, know the matter


Prayagraj News: Before the elections, UP Congress State President Ajay Rai has got relief from Allahabad High Court in a case. The High Court has stayed the harassing action till the next hearing. An FIR was registered against Ajay Rai in Varanasi in 2015. In which case Ajay Rai has got relief from Allahabad High Court. A case of arson and lathi charge was registered against Ajay Rai during the immersion of Ganesh idol. Allahabad High Court has given these orders while hearing this case.

It is noteworthy that an FIR was registered against Congress State President Ajay Rai in Varanasi in the year 2015. This FIR was registered against Ajay Rai in the case of arson and lathi charge during the immersion of Ganesh idol. The ongoing criminal proceedings in the trial court have been challenged by Ajay Rai. Earlier the court had sought an affidavit from the state government.

Charge sheet was presented against 82 accused
On which Additional Advocate General PC Srivastava said that charge sheet was presented against 82 accused persons in this case. Out of which the criminal case against 81 persons has been withdrawn by the state government. This is a policy matter and as far as petitioner Ajay Rai is concerned. The decision regarding them will be taken after the elections and the next hearing of the case will be on July 30. The hearing was held in the single bench of Justice Sanjay Kumar Singh.

PM from Varanasi Lok Sabha seat Narendra Modi is contesting the Lok Sabha elections for the third time. Voting for Varanasi Lok Sabha seat will be held in the seventh phase on June 1. This is being considered a big relief for Congress leader Ajay Rai before the Lok Sabha elections.
