Anant Chaturdashi 2022: Under the Ganesh Chaturthi festival in Kota, Rajasthan, the Akharas will be given a reward of thousands of rupees for the best performance in the procession on Anant Chaturdashi. This announcement has been made by Shanti Dhariwal, Minister of Autonomous Government of the state government. On the basis of feats, performance in the akhadas, incentive money will be given to the best three akhadas. 51 thousand will be given to the first one, 41 thousand to the second and 31 thousand rupees to the third. An amount of 30 thousand will be given to the women akhadas participating in the procession. A committee has been constituted for the selection of the best arena.

Autonomous Governance Minister Shanti Dhariwal took a meeting of the officials of Municipal Corporation and Urban Development Trust of Kota district and discussed the preparations for the procession of Anant Chaturdashi and gave necessary instructions to the officials. He said that a large number of citizens of the surrounding including Kota participate in this event. After repairing all the roads on the procession route, necessary arrangements should be made at the place of immersion of shadows, water and idols on time with the cooperation of the district administration. The patchwork work on all the routes should be completed with quality. It should be ensured that the roads are not damaged repeatedly.
Work will be done on these routes
UIT Secretary Rajesh Joshi said that the Urban Development Trust will get the patchwork done on Anant Chaturdashi Procession Road from Kaithunipol to Vikas Bhawan, Sunder Dharamshala Road, Gumanpura Road to Surajpol and Hindu Dharamsala to Baradari.
