According to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the rule of not uploading the self-declaration form will come into force on November 22, 2022. This will also apply to international passengers arriving by airports, waterways and by road.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation has said that following the declining cases of COVID-19 and major progress in vaccination of COVID-19 globally as well as in India, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued revised guidelines for international arrivals. . According to this guideline, the rule of uploading the self-declaration form on the Air Suvidha portal has been abolished. However, the government said that if the situation regarding Kovid changes, the rules will be reviewed again.
According to the new guidelines of the Ministry of Health, physical distancing will have to be maintained during deboarding when international passengers come to India. It will be necessary to conduct thermal screening of all the passengers on entry by the officials of the Health Department. If symptoms of corona are found in a passenger, then he has to be isolated immediately. And will have to be taken to the designated medical facility following the health protocol. All passengers will have to monitor their health on their own after arrival. And if symptoms of corona are found, then immediately inform on the nearest health facility or national helpline number 1075 or state helpline number.
