Air Force showed bravery in bad weather, two patients in emergency situation were transported from Leh to Chandigarh.

Responding immediately to the emergency request, the Indian Air Force airlifted two seriously ill patients from Leh to Chandigarh for treatment in an AN-32 aircraft.

Taking immediate action with the wisdom of local citizens, administration and Air Force, both of them were taken to the hospital. Information was given by the Indian Air Force that one patient was the victim of an accident and the other was suffering from heart problems. The Air Force bravely carried out this operation in adverse weather.

The Indian Air Force had said in March 2024, “Under Operation Sadbhavna, AN-32 aircraft of the Indian Air Force were recently deployed to transport seriously injured people from Leh to Chandigarh. Indian Air Force It was said that due to bad weather and snowfall, many roads in Ladakh are closed, the Indian Air Force remains one of the only lifelines for our citizens in Ladakh and the surrounding remote areas. .”

Operation Sadbhavna is an initiative by the Indian Army in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to address the needs of people primarily affected by Pakistan sponsored terrorism. The Indian Army is running several schemes like running Army Goodwill Schools, Infrastructure Development Projects and Education Tours etc. for the children living in remote areas of the Union Territory (UT) Ladakh.
