The biggest thing is that the one who has accused Banke Bihari temple of adulteration in the peda offered as bhog is not a common man but Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav. Every day around 50 thousand devotees reach Mathura Vrindavan to pay obeisance at Banke Bihari’s court. This is a 162-year-old temple where tourists come not only from the country but also from abroad for the blessings of Lord Krishna. And no devotee who sets foot on the land of Mathura Vrindavan returns from there without taking peda, but after the news of adulteration in this peda, there are many questions in the minds of the devotees.
Brij Bhushan Singh said- Ghee should be tested in entire Uttar Pradesh
Not only this, BJP leader and former MP Brij Bhushan Singh has also jumped into this controversy of adulteration. He has said that the ghee available in every corner of UP should be tested. On the other hand, seeing questions being raised on the trees found in Mathura, the Bharatiya Janata Party has asked the people and opposition parties not to spread confusion. However, as a precaution, the quality testing of the trees in Mathura has started. The Food Safety and Drug Administration of UP has collected 13 samples of prasad from the temples of Mathura, Vrindavan and Govardhan and their test report will come after 15 days.
Ban on offering outside prasad in Lucknow’s Mankameshwar temple
The result of the uproar over Prasad from Andhra Pradesh to Vrindavan in UP was that offering of Prasad brought from outside in the sanctum sanctorum of Lucknow’s Mankameshwar temple has been banned. Posters have been put up in the temple premises which say that offering of Prasad from outside is prohibited. Apart from this, a video of rats walking on the Prasad in Siddhi Vinayak temple also surfaced on social media on Monday.
