The examinations of the students of Law Faculty of Delhi University were to be held from December 26, the protest by the students for changing the dates was going on for four consecutive days. Last day too, the protesting students remained present outside the office of Dean Professor Dr. Anju Wali Tikku throughout the night with their demands.
Let us remind you that when the protest escalated on the night of 16 December, the Dean and Proctor had sought help from Delhi Police, after which tear gas shells were fired on the students and lathi charge was carried out. According to the information, during the protest, the students closed the gate of the faculty and stopped the Dean from going out, due to which the Dean Professor Dr. Anju Wali Tikku had to take the help of the police. Dean and Proctor sought help from Delhi Police, police reached the campus in large numbers and also lathicharged the protesting students.

Even on Thursday morning, a large number of students of Law Faculty met Vice Chancellor Prof. at around 12 o’clock to appeal to change the dates of the exam. Came to meet Yogesh Singh and surround the VC office. DUSU’s new president Raunak Khatri was also present in the demonstration. This demonstration got the support of student organizations ABVP, NSUI, SFI.

These students had demonstrated
Actually, a demonstration was organized by the students to advance the dates of examinations of 1,3,5 semesters. After a long and several days long protest, finally the demands of the students were accepted and now 6th January has been fixed for the examinations by the Delhi University Administration, for which an official notice has also been issued.
