After the death of a doctor in the attack of stray dogs in the AMU campus, the Municipal Corporation started the raid

Aligarh Dog Attack: In the past, the municipal corporation action mode is visible after the death of a doctor in the attack of ferocious dogs in Sir Syed House of Aligarh Muslim University. The Municipal Corporation team reached AMU Campus after which caught stray dogs. In fact, a day before, a doctor was mauled to death by ferocious dogs in the AMU campus, whose shocking CCTV footage also came to the fore. After which this action has been taken by the Municipal Corporation.

Giving information, Municipal Commissioner Amit Kumar Aseri said that after the incident in AMU, the Municipal Corporation has started identifying its areas where the population of stray dogs is high. We are now speeding up our program in which the sterilization of dogs and the action taken under Animal Birth Control are being done again. We will try even in those things which cannot be done due to some code of conduct, that in some way we can get all those tenders done by taking permission.

Will work together with NGO

The city commissioner said that we should create a facility where we can provide proper facilities for all our dogs who have to be sterilized. There are some good NGOs in this, we are in contact with them. We will call them and work together with them. Whatever the work of sterilization, the dogs that need to be sterilized, if needed, some dogs will also be displaced from there. For this, we will do this in collaboration with the NGO to identify them and treat them. We are currently preparing the data of the dogs.
