After Sambhal-Aligarh, now in Moradabad there is a claim of finding a temple that had been closed for years, now it is in ruins.


Moradabad News: It is also being claimed to have found a closed ancient temple in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. This temple is said to belong to the Jain community. People have built their houses around this ruined temple. People from both Hindu and Muslim communities living here say that earlier about 50 Jain and Verma families lived here. The temple is very old, people of Jain community sold their houses and went to the city and closed the temple which is now in a dilapidated state.

People have also dumped garbage around the gate of this temple. The temple is made of Lakhori brick and the carvings of a Jain temple are visible. The temple is quite big but there is a pile of garbage on the path leading to it. Looking at the temple from the top view shows that the building must have been quite big.

Local leader of BJP Yuva Morcha, Sonu Thakur, says that since then we have regained our senses. We are looking at this temple like this, we want cleanliness here, Hindus and Muslims all live together here. There is also a big temple of Saini community nearby, in which all the pujas are conducted. People of Jain community started moving to the city due to its business facilities and sold their houses and moved away from here. Now people from both Muslim and Hindu communities live nearby. Today all the facilities are there, the temple organization should take a decision for this.

The temple is in Pakbada police station of Moradabad.

Local citizen Haji Mushahid told that Hindus and Muslims all live together here. There is harmony among themselves, earlier people of Jain community used to live here who sold their houses and moved to the city due to business and this temple has been closed since then. This temple is in Ratanpur Kalan of Pakbada police station area of ​​Moradabad.

Business people fled due to fear of robbery

On the condition of anonymity, a local person told that after a dispute in the month of December 1985, miscreants had looted the houses of Jains and Vaishyas here. After looting, the dacoits took away the household items. Due to the terror of the miscreants, more than 50 families of Jains, Vaishyas and goldsmiths fled from the village. The temple present amidst the heap of garbage is still telling the story of the terror that happened 39 years ago. Garbage is thrown at the door of the temple, the entire temple is lying in ruins. According to local people, police had come here yesterday.
