Why BJP and Congress neglect AAP: Despite the vigorous campaign of Aam Aadmi Party in Gujarat elections, Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party are not accepting triangular fight in elections. Both the parties are completely rejecting you. Senior party leaders say that the fight in the state has always been bilateral. This time also this contest will be between Congress and BJP. So on the other hand AAP says that this time the election is only between AAP and BJP as Congress will get only five seats. However, the question is why are you being rejected by both the parties?

The BJP fears that the Arvind Kejriwal-led party could prove to be a vote-cutter not only for the Congress but also for the BJP. BJP is already weaker than Congress in rural areas. In such a situation, if the BJP loses its votes in the urban areas, then it may fail to retain its power in the state for years.

In Uttarakhand, BJP got 47 out of 70 seats. While the Congress had won 19 seats. The Congress believes that the AAP and the BSP had hindered the Congress’s chances of victory.

BSP got 4.82 votes with 2 seats, while AAP got 3.31 votes with 0 seats. The total votes of BSP and AAP was 8.13. That’s why the party believes that had this vote not been divided, the Congress could have won in Uttarakhand. Congress is against AAP because it does not want to repeat the history of Goa and Uttarakhand in Gujarat. That’s why Congress has taken a tough stand against AAP. However, both the parties are apprehensive that AAP may prove to be a vote cut in the elections.
