Adipurush Makers Wrote Apology Letter: All Hindi films are now paying for the ongoing controversy regarding Adipurush. Screening of all Hindi films in Nepal has been banned due to the dialogues used in Adipurush. Now the makers have apologized for this by writing a letter.

T-Series has written an Apology Letter to the Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Balen Shah and the Film Development Board of Nepal. In the letter, apart from apologizing on behalf of T-series, an appeal has also been made that the Nepal Film Development Board should see it as an art.

In a letter written to Balendra Shah, Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City and Film Development Board of Nepal, T-Series wrote- ‘Respected Sir, If we have hurt the sentiments of the people of Nepal in any way, first of all we apologize for the same. . This was not done intentionally to create any kind of disharmony for anyone.

Clarification given on the character of Sita-Ram
It is further written in the letter, ‘Prabhas, playing the character of Raghav, has spoken these dialogues,’ Don’t fight for me today, fight for the day when the miscreant will remember your manhood before giving his hand to any daughter of India’ , It has nothing to do with the birth place of Sita Mata, it is generally related to the dignity of all women especially the women of India. Being an Indian, the respect of women around the world is most important for us.

‘Treat film as an art’
T-Series further clarified its intentions and wrote – We appeal to you to support the intention of reaching a larger audience to see the film as an art and create interest in our history.
