Tax.” Let us tell you that PM Modi visited Egypt’s 11th century historical Al-Hakim Mosque located in Cairo on Sunday. This mosque has been renovated with the help of the Dawoodi Bohra community of India. This mosque was constructed in 1012, PM Modi appreciated the intricate carvings done on the walls and doors of the mosque.
While tweeting about the visit of Al-Hakim Mosque, PM Modi shared its photo and wrote in Arabic and English – “Feel honored to visit the historic Al-Hakim Mosque in Cairo. It is a great example of Egypt’s rich heritage and culture.” There is proof.” During this tour, PM Modi also met the leaders of the Bohra community, who maintain this Shia mosque. Al Hakim Mosque is the fourth oldest mosque in Cairo and the second Fatimid era mosque in the city. This mosque is spread over an area of 13,560 square meters, whose courtyard is 5,000 square meters.
