According to the report of Hindustan Times, this statement of Mamata Banerjee came after a comment by the leader of opposition in Bengal Assembly and senior BJP MLA Shubhendu Adhikari. The official has said that there will be a big explosion on Monday which will shake TMC and its top leaders. After that, on Sunday, Mamata Banerjee said that BJP is targeting me and Abhishek, we are not safe, but we are also not afraid of BJP’s conspiracy.
Addressing an election rally in Kumarganj of Balurghat Lok Sabha seat in favor of party candidate and state minister Biplab Mitra, he said that we urge everyone to remain alert against the conspiracy against TMC leaders and the people of West Bengal.
Without naming Subhendu Adhikari, he said, “There is a traitor who has joined BJP to save his family and ill-gotten wealth. Let me tell him, his threat to explode chocolate bombs has no meaning. In response to this, we will counter it by bursting crackers. Mamta said that we will also burst crackers with slogans like PM Care Fund and sending Rs 15 lakh to people’s accounts.
Mamta said – elections will not be held if BJP returns to power
Once again Mamata Banerjee accused Doordarshan of saffronisation by changing the color of its logo. “If it (BJP) returns to power, there will be no elections in future,” he said. “There will be one person, one party rule and religious rights of different communities will be in danger,” he said.
