IND vs BAN 1st Test: The last match of the ongoing ODI series between Bangladesh and India will be played on Saturday and after that both the teams will start preparing for the Test series. The Indian Test team has been announced, but now a big change can be seen in it. Rohit Sharma has been ruled out of the ODI series due to injury, but there is little hope of playing in his Tests as well. Now it is being told that Abhimanyu Easwaran of Bengal can be included in the Indian team.
According to ESPNcricinfo, the BCCI is currently waiting for the final report regarding Rohit Sharma’s injury. Rohit has returned to Mumbai after getting injured in the second ODI and has met the specialist working with the BCCI there. The team management is hopeful that Rohit will be fit before the second Test. Easwaran is currently in Sylhet where he has led India A to victory in the first-class match under his captaincy.
Easwaran is well aware of the conditions in Bangladesh
Easwaran’s performance against Bangladesh for India A has been impressive and he has played two brilliant innings of 141 and 157 runs. Easwaran has a good feel of Bangladesh conditions as he keeps playing in the Dhaka Premier League circuit. This year he represented Dhaka Bank in the 50-over format. Easwaran, who made his first-class debut in 2013, was part of the Indian Test team on the tour of England last year. Easwaran, who has been showing a consistent game, has not yet got a chance to debut.
