Delhi Politics: The Aam Aadmi Party is going to hold a big rally on June 11 at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan in protest against the ordinance brought by the central government regarding the powers of the Delhi government. According to the party, efforts will be made to mobilize more than one lakh people in this rally. In such a situation, maximum number of people reached this rally. For this, the leaders of the party have also started going door-to-door seeking support from the people.

On Tuesday, June 6, two senior ministers of the Delhi government were seen doing door-to-door campaign regarding this mega rally. Saurabh Bhardwaj, a minister in Delhi government, reached Shahpur Jat area of Greater Kailash assembly for this campaign. Here he distributed pamphlets and appealed to the people to participate in this rally and also informed the people about this ordinance.

During this, Saurabh Bhardwaj said that the Delhi government was waiting for the decision of the Supreme Court for a long time. That decision finally came in favor of the government and the Delhi government got the rights it should have, but by bringing this ordinance, the central government overturned the decision of the Supreme Court.

Rally on June 11 at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan
In fact, the central government came up with an ordinance, which tried to take away all the powers of the Delhi government. Now our fight is going on regarding this, on the one hand the National Convenor of the party and Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal is gathering support in the Parliament against it by meeting the opposition leaders. At the same time, we are also preparing to give a big message to the governments and the entire country in a big rally to be held on June 11 at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. This is the reason why door to door campaign is being done in this way to involve more and more people in it.

Opposition needs to unite
Saurabh Bhardwaj, on not getting the meeting time from the Congress till now, said that the Congress takes a decision only after looking at all its aspects, perhaps he would be thinking about taking a decision. Hopefully he will take a decision soon. Saurabh said that the opposition needs to unite against this ordinance because this can happen not only with Delhi but with any state government. In such a situation, everyone needs to come together.

Voice should be raised from Parliament to the road
Gopal Rai said that this fight is big. Everyone needs to come together in this. Opposition parties should also come together and those people who have voted and elected their government. During this, people also have to understand that all the powers of the government they have elected are being snatched away by the central government. In such a situation, what will be the value of the votes of the people. Gopal Rai said that keeping this in mind, people will also have to stand against this ordinance. Through this rally, Arvind Kejriwal and his party are trying to raise their voice against this ordinance from the Parliament to the streets so that it can be made a big issue against the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
