Balochistan Liberation Army has taken responsibility for this attack. Balochistan Inspector General of Police Office Public Relations Officer Rabia Tariq said that how the explosion occurred is being investigated, but complete information will be given only after investigation.

According to the report of Dawn.com, Rabia Tariq said that according to initial information, a bus going from Karachi to Turbat was targeted in New Bahman area. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital, out of which the condition of five is critical.

Quetta SSP’s family also injured

Rabia Tariq said that a large number of security forces and police have reached the spot. The area has been cordoned off. The special thing is that Quetta Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Zohaib Mohsin was also going to Turbat with his family and got caught in the blast. Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind said in a statement that SSP Mohsin and four members of his family were slightly injured.
