Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday appealed to the Group of Seven Nations (G-7 Countries) to send an additional two billion cubic meters of natural gas to his government. Apart from this, Zelensky has urged to help supply modern tanks, artillery units and shells as well as long-range weapons.

Zelensky’s suggestion to Putin

Speaking at a G-7 video conference hosted by Germany, Zelensky also called on Russia to take concrete steps towards a diplomatic solution to the war in Ukraine and suggested that Russia should withdraw its troops by Christmas. He said, “If Russia withdraws its forces from Ukraine, it will also ensure a credible end to the hostilities. I see no reason why Russia should not do so now by Christmas time.”
