Let us tell you that there was a lot of uproar over the controversial book titled “Group Violence and Criminal Justice System” being taught in the Government New Law College, Indore, regarding which the principal of the college, Inamur Rahman, resigned. Seeing the rising controversy, State Home Minister Narottam Mishra had ordered to investigate and register an FIR. On which the Bhanwarkua police of Indore registered a case against the writer Farhat Khan, Principal Inamur Rahman, Professor Moujiz Baig and the publisher of the book.

At the same time, on the instructions of Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, a 7-member inquiry committee was constituted regarding the whole matter. The team of the inquiry committee reached the college two days ago and recorded the statements of about 250 students. At the same time, statements of 17 teachers of the college were also taken, after which the writer was arrested from Poona and released after serving a notice in view of the writer’s health.

On the other hand, Indore Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari Mishra told that in the controversial book case, the woman publisher along with the writer has also been arrested and the other two accused who are absconding in the case, the college principal and the teacher, are being searched by the police.
