IT department action in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, raids at 20 places in both the states

Income Tax Department: The Income Tax Department is conducting raids in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The team of Income Tax Department is running search operation at about 20 different places in both the states. For the last few months, there has been a spurt in the activities of the IT department in Telangana.

In fact, according to media reports, IT officials are conducting searches at the house and offices of one Vamseeram Builders MD Subba Reddy of Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad. The Income Tax Department is running a search operation due to the difference in income tax paid. Apart from Hyderabad, IT officials are also conducting raids at the offices of CEOs, directors and their homes in Vijayawada including Nellore in Andhra Pradesh.

IT’s special eye on documents and computer hard disk

The IT team is also conducting searches at the house of YCP leader Devineni Avinash in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. This action is going on at his house since 6.30 am. According to media reports, several documents were examined in the offices of the CEOs, Directors of Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Nellore. Documents and computer hard disks are also being analysed. Earlier, IT officials had also raided the places of Telangana minister Malla Reddy and his relatives.
