JKPSC Bharti 2022: Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has opened the application window for recruitment to the vacant posts of Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) in Public Works Department. Interested candidates can apply for the vacancies on the official website of the Commission, jkpsc.nic.in. The last date to apply for the vacancies for the post of Assistant Manager is 2nd September 2022. Correction window for editing and revision will open from 5th September 2022.

The objective of this recruitment drive is to fill up a total of 61 Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) vacancies.

To apply for this recruitment, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or engineering degree in the relevant branch of engineering.

Selection Process
For recruitment to these posts, the commission will conduct written test (MCQ based) of 100 marks. The exam will be conducted at Srinagar and Jammu centers. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/viva voce.

To apply for this recruitment, candidates have to pay the application fee. Unreserved category candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 1000 for this recruitment drive. Whereas the application fee for reserved category candidates has been kept at Rs 500.
