There was light rain with thunder in some areas of Jehanabad, Gaya, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Arwal, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Khagaria, Lakhisarai, Munger and Begusarai districts of the state including Patna. According to the Meteorological Department, it will be cloudy in many parts of the state including the capital.

Due to the effect of moist air coming from the Bay of Bengal in the state, this change is being seen in the weather of the state. Light rain and thundershowers are forecast at some places over Southeast, South Central, North-East, North-Central parts of Bihar. The night will be cloudy with moderate levels.

The Meteorological Department has said that there will be a change in the weather after February 26. There will also be some increase in maximum temperature from next week. A ‘yellow-alert’ has been issued in the state.

According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of moisture-rich air from the Bay of Bengal is expected to remain for 48 hours. If we talk about the temperature on Thursday, then a minimum temperature of 11.8 degree Celsius has been recorded in Sitamarhi, Bihar. The minimum temperature of the capital Patna was recorded at 17.2 degree Celsius. Nawada was the hottest place with 28.7 degree Celsius.
