Mahoba News Today: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is conducting PCS examination for the first time in Mahoba. In this sequence, preparations have been completed to conduct the PCS examination 2024 to be held on Sunday (22 December) in Mahoba in a fair, transparent and peaceful manner.
The administrative officers of the district including DM, SP, the nodal officer of the examination, inspected all the examination centers and tested the arrangements. As a precautionary measure, electronic goods shops near the examination centers in Mahoba will remain closed on the day of PCS examination. For the convenience of the coming candidates, accommodation arrangements including help desk have been made.
DM-SP inspected
For the first time, the PCS examination center has been set up in Mahoba district by the Public Service Commission, hence the administration is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the successful completion of the examination. Before the examination, all the administrative officers under the leadership of Mahoba Nodal Officer Mridul Chaudhary and Superintendent of Police Palash Bansal visited the 10 examination centers set up in the district and inspected their security arrangements, lighting, CCTV cameras and seating areas of the candidates etc.
PCS Exam Schedule
During this, Mahoba District Magistrate Mridul Chaudhary said that a total of 4128 candidates will appear for the examination at 10 examination centers set up in the district. This examination will be conducted in two shifts. He told that the candidates will have to reach the examination center 45 minutes before the scheduled time.
District Magistrate Mridul Chaudhary said that a help desk has been set up at the bus stand and railway station for the candidates coming from outside, with the help of which the candidates can easily reach their examination centre. He told that camps have also been made at different places for the candidates to stay.
District Magistrate Mridul Choudhary said that the camps for the candidates will remain close to the examination centres, so that the candidates do not have to face any kind of problem. He said that separate arrangements for buses have also been made to take the candidates to the examination centre.
Heavy police deployment at examination centers
To conduct the PCS examination in a fair, transparent and peaceful manner, the officials are engaged in following the guidelines issued by the Public Service Commission. To ensure that there is no disturbance of any kind in the examination, Superintendent of Police Palash Bansal said that on this occasion, instructions have been given to maintain law and order as well as traffic system.
To ensure that there is no problem in the movement of students, traffic police have been deployed along with barricades at various places, so that no disruption is created on the way. Apart from this, centers have been set up everywhere.
Electronic goods shops around the examination center will remain closed. Heavy police force has been deployed at the examination centres. The police is working vigorously to conduct the examination safely and fairly.
