Ashwin-Jadeja will not separate

Ravichandran Ashwin had told in the press conference after the Gabba Test in Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024 that he is retiring from international cricket. This means he will not play Test, ODI or T20 matches for India, but he also said that he will continue playing club cricket. Recall that before the mega auction of IPL 2025, Chennai Super Kings had retained Ravindra Jadeja for Rs 18 crore.

The good thing is that Ravichandran Ashwin has returned to CSK for IPL 2025. This time Ashwin has been bought by Chennai franchise for Rs 9.75 crore. This will be the first time since 2015 that Ashwin will play for CSK. Now even though Ashwin and Jadeja are not seen playing together in international cricket, they are going to play together in the Chennai team in IPL 2025. Ashwin was a part of the CSK team from 2008-2015 and during this time he was a part of the Chennai team that became IPL champion twice. On the other hand, Jadeja has won the IPL title 3 times with CSK.
