Sambhal Mandir News: The first idol of Mahadev was found in the temple which opened after 46 years in Khaggu Sarai of Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh. Now during the excavation there a broken statue of Mother Parvati has been found. However, the police has taken this statue away with itself. Meanwhile, after receiving the news of opening of the temple, a large number of devotees are reaching here to have darshan of the Lord. There is a queue of devotees outside the temple.
A crowd of devotees gathered in Sambhal today on Monday to visit the Shiva temple. Devotees performed water consecration and worship. Meanwhile, the well near the temple was also excavated, in which two idols of Goddess Parvati were found. These idols were found in a 20 feet deep pit during the excavation of the well. This well is located near the temple. This well is said to be thirty feet deep. The well is still being excavated. It has come to light that after some time the idol of Lord Ganesha also came out from this well.
Police took possession of the idols
After finding the idols of Mata Parvati, the local police officers took them into their custody and have currently taken the idols with them. Police say that they will deposit these idols in the government treasury. The area around the temple is still being investigated. Amidst the cleanliness of the temple and worship, bulldozer action is also going on against encroachment in the area.
After the opening of the temple, a lot of enthusiasm is visible among the devotees in the surrounding areas. Today a large number of devotees are reaching the temple to have darshan of Baba Bholenath. A devotee who came to see Mahadev said that we are very happy with the opening of the temple. This has brought great joy to our hearts. This is our very old temple. An elderly woman told that she used to come here for worship years ago.
Earlier, this temple was discovered during the action to remove encroachment in Sambhal. After which the local administration cleaned the place and started worshiping in the temple. This temple has been named as the ancient Sambhaleshwar temple.
