Bangladesh Air Force:: Amidst the sourness in relations with India, Bangladesh is busy upgrading its Air Force. For this, Bangladesh is now preparing to join hands with China. Bangladesh Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan in a statement laid emphasis on upgrading fighter planes and attack helicopters and pointed towards purchasing fighter planes from China.
Bangladesh can buy this fighter jet of China
According to IDRW report, Bangladesh can buy J-10C multirole fighter jet from China to increase its air power. It has been reported in the report that Bangladesh is considering purchasing 16 J-10C fighter planes for its Air Force in the first phase.
If this happens, Bangladesh will be the second neighbor after Pakistan to buy fighter aircraft from China. Along with fighter jets, Bangladesh is also focusing on purchasing attack helicopters, which are important for missions like close air support and anti-armor operations.
Strength of J-10C made in China
The J-10C made in China is a fourth generation fighter aircraft, which has the ability to complete missions both on land and in the air while remaining in the sky. The Chinese J-10C has advanced avionics and AESA radar systems as well as the ability to deploy modern weapons. This is the reason why China wants to buy powerful fighter planes. This step of Bangladesh clearly shows that its intention is to establish itself as an important air defense power in the region.
China has already sold this aircraft to Pakistan, which is currently using it. Recently, Pakistan had agreed to buy fifth generation fighter aircraft J-35 from China. China claimed that its fighter plane is equivalent to America’s F-35 fighter plane. It is being told that its delivery will start within the next two years.
