Nitish Kumar Cabinet Meeting: 33 agendas have been approved in the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday (03 December) under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The biggest relief has been given regarding land survey. The time for land survey has been extended by six months by the government. Super specialty eye hospital will open in Patna. A hospital will be built on 1.60 acres of land in Kankarbagh. Bihar government has given land on lease for 99 years.
A super specialty hospital will be opened in the name of Shankar in which patients earning less than Rs 2.5 lakh will get free treatment. Subsidy will be given to other patients. Treatment will be done at concessional rates. Shankar Hospital will also set up a camp. Apart from this, the way has been cleared for the salaries of employees employed on contract basis under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Funds have been given for the development of Matsyagandha Lake of Saharsa and the tourist facilities near it. Administrative approval of Rs 98 crore 65 lakh 79 thousand 300 has been received. At the same time, funds have been given for the development of Karamchat Eco-Tourism and Adventure Hub of Kaimur. Administrative approval of Rs 49 crore 73 lakh 33 thousand 440 has been received.
