Sub Divisional Magistrates are an important link in the process of dividing the district into smaller administrative parts. According to reports, SDM is provided salary in pay band 9300-34800 with grade pay 5400. SDM salary starts from Rs 56,100 and goes up to Rs 1.77 lakh. Apart from this, they are also given various allowances.
