Parliament Winter Session: The winter session of Parliament will start from November 25 after the results of Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly elections. In this session, which will run till December 20, five new bills and 10 bills including the controversial Waqf bill can be passed.

Which bills will be presented in Parliament?
Modi government has listed five new bills. These also include the Coastal Shipping Bill, which is meant to promote coastal trade. Apart from this, the Indian Ports Bill, 2024 will also be brought in the Parliament. Its objective is to protect ports in line with India’s international obligations and statutory compliance.
Now let’s talk about that bill on which everyone’s eyes are fixed. The government would like this bill to be passed in this session itself.
There may be a huge uproar in the Parliament
One Nation One Election Bill is also expected to be introduced in the winter session of the 18th Lok Sabha. Apart from this, the proposal to give full statehood to Jammu and Kashmir is also likely to be passed.
For your information, let us tell you that recently assembly elections were held in Jammu and Kashmir after 10 years, regarding which a sharp attitude of the opposition was seen. Now there is expected to be a huge uproar regarding this in the winter session of Parliament in 2024.
Earlier, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said in a tweet that the winter session of Parliament is starting from November 25 and will continue till December 20, 2024.
