Himachal Pradesh News: In Himachal Pradesh, widow women will be given financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh to build houses. Himachal Pradesh government will help in constructing houses for such widow women who are registered with the Building and Construction Workers Welfare Board. All eligible women registered with the Building and Construction Workers Welfare Board will get financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh for building houses. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that the state government is taking the initiative to provide financial assistance to widows, disabled women and single women to realize their dream of building houses.
Important step of the government for single women
Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that Himachal Pradesh Building and Construction Workers Welfare Board, financial assistance for marriage, maternity benefit, education assistance, medical care, pension, disability pension, cremation expenses, relief for accidental death, hostel facilities and widow Is implementing various welfare schemes including pension. The Chief Minister said that the state government is working with commitment for the upliftment of all sections.
Financial help will come directly into bank account
Financial assistance for construction of a house will also include an additional assistance of Rs 3 lakh for the house and Rs 1 lakh for essential facilities like kitchen, toilet and bathroom. To take advantage of this, women should be registered with the board. Must have completed at least 90 working days in the last 12 months and their annual income should be less than Rs 2.50 lakh. Eligible women will have to apply for this scheme through the labor officer along with necessary documents. After getting approval for this, the financial help will be transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiary.
