IND vs JAP Bihar Womens Asian Champions Trophy Rajgir: India has made it to the final of the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy by defeating Japan 2-0. Now Team India will face China in the final, which had defeated Malaysia 3-1 in the first semi-final. This Champions Trophy tournament is being played in Rajgir, Bihar and the India vs China final match will be played on 20th November. In the thrilling semi-final match against Japan, Navneet Kaur and Lalremsiami scored one goal each in the last quarter to ensure the victory of Team India.
This semi-final match was so exciting that the first three quarters of 15 minutes each remained goalless, but in the last 15 minutes the Japanese team collapsed under pressure. Just 2 minutes after the start of the last quarter, India got a penalty stroke, which Navneet Kaur converted into a goal, giving Team India a 1-0 lead. Only 4 minutes were left for the match to end, when in the 56th minute, Lalremsiami dodged the Japanese goalkeeper and scored a goal to give India a 2-0 lead.
Now we will face China
Now India will face China in the final of the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy. This clash will take place on 20th November in Rajgir, Bihar. On one hand, India made it to the finals by defeating Japan 2-0, while China made it to the title clash by defeating Malaysia 3-1.
In the history of Women’s Hockey Asian Champions Trophy, the Indian team has reached the final for the fifth time and Team India has won this title thrice so far. In the Champions Trophy held in 2023, Team India won the title by defeating Japan 4-0 in the final. China had to be satisfied with third place for the last three times, but this time it has finally succeeded in entering the finals.
