Mohan Bhagwat: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat performed Shastra Puja on the occasion of Vijayadashami on Saturday at the Sangh headquarters in Nagpur. During this, in his address, he expressed his relief on issues like Bangladesh, Kolkata rape-murder, increasing violent incidents in the country, Israel-Hamas war and stone pelting at processions.
In his address, he also gave the mantra to be prepared for future challenges. He also mentioned the work done by Ahilyabai Holkar and Dayanand Saraswati for the service of the country.
Being weak won’t help
On the issue of stone pelting at processions, he said violence that blames an entire community for the misdeeds of one person is not resentment but bullying. Recently there was stone pelting at the immersion procession. Why did this happen? The police should have come and handled the situation, but until the police come, the society will have to stand by it. Society will have to face it strongly. No one should be bullied. It is our duty to protect our lives until the police arrive.
He further said that I am not saying this to scare anyone. I am not saying this to fight with anyone. But the society needs to be strong and alert. Being weak will not help.
Maharani Durgavati, Maharani Holkar and Maharishi Dayanand were also remembered.
In his address, he said, “Today the Sangh is completing 100 years. This is also special because the 200th birth anniversary of Maharani Durgavati, Maharani Holkar and Maharishi Dayanand is also going on. It is important to remember them because these people Worked in the interest of the country, society and culture.”
Remembering Dayanand Saraswati, Mohan Bhagwat said, “Dayanand Saraswati was behind the resurgence of India that started after long slavery. Understand your origin and behave like the times. He has made a great effort to make people aware. Due to this, many types of movements took place in future also, today is the time to remember him.
