Israel-Hamas war scares half of US Muslims! This percentage of people said – discrimination has increased

Pew Research Center Survey on Muslims: The war between Israel and Hamas has also affected the people living in America. Half of the Muslims there are scared because of this, while about 70 percent of the Muslims have to face prejudice because of this. According to a survey by Pew Research Center, 70 percent of Muslims living in the US said that discrimination against them has increased after the start of this war.

Through this survey conducted in America between February 13 and February 25, 2024, it was found that apart from 70 percent Muslims there, 14 percent Muslims said that the situation in this matter remained almost the same as before. In the opinion of two percent Muslims, discrimination against them has reduced, while 13 percent people were not in a position to say anything about this. He said that he did not know about this.

What was the opinion of Americans on discrimination against Muslims?

During the survey, questions were also asked to American adults other than Muslims. 38 percent of such people believed that discrimination against Muslims has increased after the war started. 30 percent people said that there was no change in the situation and five percent believed that prejudice against Muslims had reduced. However, there were also 26 percent people who said that they did not know about this.

Israel-Hamas war had such an impact on the behavior of Muslims

During this survey, the Pew Research Center team also found out how the Israel-Hamas war affected people’s behavior. According to the data, after knowing the news of war between Israel and Hamas, 86 percent Muslims felt sad, 70 percent Muslims got angry, 66 percent Muslims felt weak and 53 percent Muslims were scared by it.
