• You can observe this fast every year in the month of Sawan. But if you want to leave this fast for some reason, then definitely observe this fast on the last Tuesday of the month of Sawan. The fast is not complete without Udyapan.
• Also keep in mind that Udyapan should be done only after observing Mangala Gauri Vrat for at least five days.
• In Mangala Gauri Vrat, the number of worship materials like bangles, supari, betel leaves, cloves, flowers etc. should remain in 16.
• If you alone cannot offer material in the number of 16, then 16 women can sit together and worship. All the 16 women keep offering Suhan’s items, fruits, flour laddoos etc. to the mother one by one.
