Indian Team’s New Lead Sponsor: BCCI has announced before the West Indies tour that Dream XI will be the lead sponsor of the Indian team for the next three years. Dream XI will appear on the jersey of the Indian team from the Test series to be held on the West Indies tour. This will be Team India’s first match in the World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle. Dream XI will replace Byjus.
Why did the BCCI President speak on Dream XI becoming the lead sponsor?
BCCI President Roger Binny said, “I congratulate Dream11 and welcome them on board again. From being the official sponsor of BCCI to now being the lead sponsor, the BCCI-Dream 11 partnership is going from strength to strength. This is a direct proof of the belief, value, capability and growth of Indian cricket. As we prepare to host the ICC World Cup later this year, enhancing the viewer experience is one of our top priorities and I am sure this partnership will help us enhance the fan engagement experience .”

Significantly, recently the kit sponsor of Team India also changed. Adidas became the new kit sponsor of the Indian cricket team. Adidas had replaced ‘Killer’.
