‘Shaurya Luthra’ of ‘Kundali Bhagya’ also had to become a victim of casting couch, reveals Baseer Ali

Baseer Ali On Casting Couch: Popular actor Basir Ali is busy winning the hearts of the audience with his talent and charm these days. The actor is currently a part of Zee TV’s popular show ‘Kundali Bhagya’ and is playing the role of Shaurya Luthra in the serial. Basir has been associated with the entertainment industry for a long time. He has done many reality shows like ‘Roadies 15’, ‘Splitsvilla 10’ and ‘Ace of Space 2’.

After the reality genre, Basir is now winning hearts with his acting in the hit daily show. Amidst all this, in a recent interview, he has made a shocking disclosure of a casting couch incident that happened to him.

Basir Ali reveals casting couch
In an interview to ETimes TV, Kundali Bhagya actor Bashir Ali revealed about his shocking casting couch experience. He said, “Fortunately or unfortunately, I was around these hunters and monsters right from the beginning of my career. I was literally told to my face, ‘Tu toh mujhe bahut pasand tha, chal chhod ab toh mera bhai hai and he All.’ I was like you have the audacity to say this in front of me because of your position.”

Basir told that he was preparing to relocate from Hyderabad, so his mother advised him to do a TV show. He said that it is not right for his future to depend completely on reality shows. However, Baseer requested his mother not to put too much pressure on him. After coming to Mumbai, he met a friend who helped him start his journey in acting. This friend also helped Basir to get an audition with Balaji. He also revealed that he had bagged the role of Shaurya Luthra in ‘Kundali Bhagya’ in a one-time audition.

Along with Bashir Ali, Kundali Bhagya also stars Paras Kalnawat, Sana Sayyed, Shraddha Arya and Shakti Anand in pivotal roles. Kundali Bhagya premiered on 12 July 2017 and is telecast from Monday to Friday at 9:30 pm on Zee TV.
