Drugs Case: In England (UK), an Indian-origin woman has been found guilty of supplying drugs. After which the woman has been sentenced to imprisonment for four years and eight months. The Aylesbury Crown Court, while hearing the case, has considered the woman as an accused.
The name of a woman of Indian origin doing illegal work in Britain is Mandeep Kaur, who is a resident of North London, UK. 41-year-old Mandeep has been considered by the court as accused of conspiring to supply Class A and banned drugs. According to media reports, the hearing against Mandeep in this case went on for two weeks, after which the court convicted him and sentenced him.
Woman was arrested with cocaine
Not only this, the court found the Indian-origin woman guilty of conspiracy to possess criminal property. The court admitted that Mandeep Kaur had delivered one kilogram of cocaine three days before her arrest. Simultaneously, the convicted woman made several trips to a criminal group, the group for which Kaur traveled was known to supply cocaine across the country.
Woman used to work for organized crime group
Along with this, the allegation against Kaur was proved that she used to courier money and drugs for a Buckinghamshire-based organized crime group. She used to travel every day to supply cocaine in the country.
According to the report, Kaur was arrested on 13 June 2020 while supplying one kg of cocaine. During the arrest, £50,000 in cash was also recovered from his bag, which was confiscated by the police. Kaur’s conviction comes a few days after three Indian-origin members (Quran Gill, Jag Singh and Govind Bahiya) involved in the organized crime group were arrested and jailed.
