Rajasthan Panchayat Samiti: Under the banner of Rajasthan Sarpanch Sangharsh Samiti, all the Sarpanchs of Rajasthan will boycott the general meeting of the Panchayat Samiti to be held on 8th May. State Sarpanch Sangh’s chief spokesperson Rafiq Pathan said that the sarpanch of Rajasthan has been agitating for a long time for the demands of public interest related to the people and under this work is being boycotted continuously since April 20.
This is the main demand of Sarpanchs
- Funds given by the central and state government for the development of the village, which is about 4000 crore rupees, should be deposited in the accounts of the panchayats soon.
- The residence approval of the remaining eligible persons in the Prime Minister’s residence should be taken out immediately.
- Online forms were taken by the state government to give the benefit of food security to 10 lakh people, they should be given the benefit of food security immediately.
- In NREGA scheme, payment is outstanding in many districts even after verification, that payment should be released immediately, as well as only 20 works will be approved in a panchayat, this compulsion should be abolished and online attendance should be stopped in view of the network problem.
- The Stunn Canal Project, which provides drinking water to 13 districts, should be declared a national project. Including various demands.
Work is not being done in panchayats, common people are worried
Rafiq Pathan told that in order to make this movement successful, a meeting of Rajasthan Sarpanch Joint Sangharsh Samiti was held in Jaipur, in which a decision was taken to boycott work under the leadership of Patron Bansidhar Garhwal. He said that due to the strike of the sarpanchs, the general public in the entire state is suffering, but the state government is not paying any more attention to it, in such a situation, plans are being made to speed up this movement further.
