Kota News: The country’s most prestigious engineering entrance exam JEE Advanced, which will be conducted by IIT Guwahati on June 4. Till now (May 6), more than 1 lakh 70 thousand students have applied for the JEE-Advanced exam. The last chance to apply is till 5 pm on Sunday (May 7). After the application, the fees can be paid till 5 pm on May 8.
After the JEE-Advanced entrance exam, admission is available on 16538 seats in a total of 23 IITs across the country. This exam is completely computer based. Only the top 2.5 lakh students selected in the JEE Main examinations of January and April have been declared eligible to take the JEE Advanced examination.
JEE-Advanced exam admit card will be released on May 29
Career counseling expert Amit Ahuj told that the admit card for JEE-Advanced exam will be issued on May 29. The exam will be held on June 4 in two shifts. The result of the exam will be declared on June 18 at 10 am. Such students who do not have 75% in 12th board must also apply, because on the basis of JEE-Advanced, admission is given in many premier institutes apart from admission in IITs, where this board qualification of 75% is not applicable. These institutes include institutes like IISER Mohali, Pune, Bangalore Kolkata Bhopal, IISc Bangalore, IIP Visakhapatnam, Rajiv Gandhi Rae Bareilly.

Such students whose rank in JEE Main is very low and they are not likely to get NIT and TripleIT on their rank can apply for admission in many big engineering institutes of the country. Students can apply for admission in institutes like BITS Pilani, Manipal, Bengaluru, PES Bengaluru, K IIT Kalinga, SRM Chennai, MIT Pune, UPS Dehradun, NIIMS Mumbai, Shiv Nadar Noida, Bennett Noida, BBP Pune, LPU Punjab etc. Admission in all these institutes is done through their own examination.
