Naxal Attack: A press note has been issued by Samta, spokesperson of the South Sub-Zonal Bureau of the Maoist organization regarding the Naxalite attack on April 26 in Aranpur in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh. Taking the responsibility of this attack, the small action team of PLGA has accepted the fact of carrying out the incident. The Naxalites issued a pamphlet and also wrote that “jawans are illegally arresting villagers by attacking villagers in the name of searching. Earlier on April 12, the police attacked the people of Gonderas Panchayat. Along with this, 17 villagers, including children, old men and women, were mercilessly beaten up while running away. It has become a routine of the police administration to attack the public on a daily basis, in view of which revenge has been taken against the DRG jawans.”
Naxalites objected to the air strike
Apart from this, the Naxalites have written in their press note that a Chintan Shivir was organized last year under the leadership of the Ministry of Home Affairs. In this, it was decided to run an operation to eliminate the Maoist organization quickly. With this in view, to implement this plan, in the month of November last, after meeting with high level officials of IB (Intelligence Bureau), the air strike in Bastar was accelerated to harm the Maoist party. PLGA member of Naxalite organization Ungi was killed in the air strike on January 11.
At the same time, to protect against foreign invasion, the army living in the border and along with it the commandos of different wings, special forces were deployed here and Bastar was converted into a cantonment. Apart from this, airstrikes are being carried out by the forces like attacking foreign territories invading Bastar’s land. Which the Naxalite organization opposes.
CRPF DG visited the spot
Here, after the incident, apart from Chhattisgarh DG Ashok Juneja, CRPF DG SL Thaosen also arrived to inspect the spot. Reached the blast site of Aranpur in a motorcycle amidst tight security. CRPF DG SL Thaosen said where was the mistake in this incident. It is being closely investigated. Along with the investigation at the local level, the CRPF is also probing it.
However, non-compliance of SOP many times proves fatal for the jawans. The DG said that the Naxalites should not succeed in carrying out such a cowardly act, for this a new strategy will now be worked out and apart from this, the DG said that the lapse happened in the incident. It will be well reviewed. The deficiencies found after inspection will be rectified. The CRPF DG also said that the jawans are fully prepared for this cowardly act by the Naxalites. In the coming time, Naxalism will be eradicated by running more and more joint operations with the district police force.
