Sachin Pilot Protest: Former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan and Congress leader Sachin Pilot staged a sit-in on Tuesday (April 11), ignoring the warning given by the party. He fasted for a day demanding action in the cases of alleged corruption during the tenure of the former Vasundhara Raje-led government. After this step of the pilot, the politics of the state intensified. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has also called a cabinet meeting on Wednesday. Know the big things related to the matter.
1. Sachin Pilot observed a five-hour silent fast from 11 am to 4 pm at the Martyr’s Memorial in Jaipur. After this he said that the fight against corruption will continue. He hoped that action would be taken in the cases of alleged corruption during the tenure of the previous BJP government. Pilot also tweeted and wrote, “The promises of the public will be fulfilled, every corruption should be investigated, Rajasthan has a firm resolve, no one will let the truth come.”
2. He said that when we were in the opposition during the tenure of Vasundhara Raje, we had exposed many scams and corruption cases. We had promised the public that when we will come to the government, we will take effective action against Vasundhara ji and all the scams that took place during BJP’s rule. Now that we are in the government, more than 4 years have passed, but no action has been taken, so today I am on fast.
3. At present, the Congress’s stand on Pilot is soft. Rajasthan in-charge Sukhjinder Randhawa is in touch with the pilot. The pilots can come to Delhi tomorrow where the in-charge will meet them and try to resolve the dispute. According to Congress sources, the party leadership will still try to resolve the Gehlot vs Pilot dispute. While some leaders in the party are advocating action against the pilot, some leaders were not in favor of doing so. Therefore, it has been decided to make another attempt to resolve the dispute. That’s why after talking to in-charge Randhawa Pilot, a decision will be taken after coming and meeting Congress President Kharge in a couple of days.
4. Without being deterred by the warning given by Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Rajasthan in-charge of the Congress, the pilots sat on the dharna. A large number of Pilot supporters were present at the picket site, although no major face of the party or sitting MLA was seen there. Pilot had asked the sitting MLAs not to attend the programme. Anirudh, son of Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh, who recently targeted Rahul Gandhi for his remarks in Britain, was also present at the fast site.
5. Apart from Pilot’s constituency Tonk, many other leaders and workers from Ajmer and East Rajasthan were also present at the martyr’s memorial. For this fast, a tent was set up near the martyr’s memorial. Only the pilots sat on the small platform built there. His supporters and other workers sat down around. Pictures of Mahatma Gandhi and Jyotiba Phule were kept near the stage. Behind the stage is written ‘Fast against corruption in Vasundhara government’ with only Mahatma Gandhi’s photo.
6. As Sachin Pilot sat on a one-day fast against the Rajasthan government led by his own party, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that it is his dream to make Rajasthan the top state in the country by 2030. He said that to make this dream come true, he has made such plans which are not there in any other state. The CM has also called a cabinet meeting on Wednesday. Sources close to Gehlot say that in the cabinet meeting, there will be a discussion regarding the implementation of the dearness relief camp.
7. Pointing to the state government’s Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme and other schemes, Gehlot said that in no other state people are getting free health insurance of Rs 25 lakh, gas cylinders are not being filled for Rs 500 in any state. Is. Nor is any such plan being considered. Accident insurance of Rs 10 lakh is being given only in Rajasthan, that too without any premium.
8. He said that many other historic decisions have been taken in this way, which will give relief to the people of Rajasthan from inflation, save their money and this saving of today will give an edge to our future generations. The Chief Minister said that a lot has to be done to make Mission 2030 a success. The first step in this direction was the ‘Savings Relief Edge’ budget.
9. BJP taunted Sachin Pilot’s fast and said that the ruckus in Rajasthan Congress has come to the streets. BJP’s national general secretary and in-charge of Rajasthan Arun Singh also termed the Ashok Gehlot-led government as anti-majority. He tweeted and questioned that the ruckus in Rajasthan Congress came on the streets. Why Congress people are silent in Gehlot government’s atrocities on women, dalit exploitation, mine scams and paper leak scam. Who is responsible for the death of priests and saints? The misery of the anti-majority government is certain from the matters of appeasement.
10. BJP MP Rajyavardhan Rathore said that Every MLA has the right to raise an issue in the Vidhansabha and then he was a minister, he had every right to raise an issue in the cabinet, but at that time the politics of selfishness was going on. They need a stick to move forward and Rajasthan is not going to give this stick.
