Hanuman Jayanti Story
Hanuman ji is called the son of Kesarinandan and Anjanay, while according to another belief, Pawan Dev also contributed behind the birth of Hanuman ji, hence he was also called Pawan Putra. According to legend, in Tretayuga, a havan was performed for King Dasharatha to have a son. After the end of the Havan, Gurudev distributed the Kheer of Prasad to the three queens of King Dasharatha, Kaushalya, Subhadra and Kaikeyi. At that time a small part of the kheer was taken away by a bird.
This is how Hanuman ji was born
While flying, that bird went to the ashram of Goddess Anjana. Mother Anjana was doing penance here. During that time kheer fell from the mouth of the bird into the hands of mother Anjana. Devi accepted it considering it as the prasad of Bholenath. With the effect of this prasad and by the grace of God, mother Anjana gave birth to child Hanuman, an incarnation of Shiva. That day was the full moon date of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month.
