Darbhanga: 73 acres of land of DMCH, the largest government hospital in Darbhanga district of the state, is missing. There is no trace of it anywhere. Many times it was not only measured at the government level but it was also mapped with drone cameras. A few days ago, in search of land, videography of the entire hospital premises was also done with drone cameras for several days, but at present only 227 acres of land could be found near the hospital.
Darbhanga MP made this claim
According to Darbhanga MP Gopal Ji Thakur, Darbhanga Maharaj had donated 300 acres of land for the construction of DMCH. In such a situation, the question is that when Darbhanga Maharaj had donated 300 acres of land, then how is only 227 acres of land visible near the hospital at present. After all, where did 73 acres of land disappear?
Confirming this, Darbhanga MP Gopal Ji Thakur said that when he sought information from the Parliament Library, he was informed that the Maharaja of Darbhanga not only donated 300 acres of land to DMCH in 1946, but also six lakh rupees. were donated. Gopal ji Thakur did not stop at this only. Raising the question, he said that when Maharaj had donated 300 acres of land, then why only 227 acres of land is visible in DMCH after the official measurement.
MP reiterated this demand
Demanding the government to work towards finding the missing 73 acres of land, he has reiterated the demand to make the proposed AIIMS to be built in Darbhanga in 200 acres as well as the new expansion of DMCH in 100 acres. On the other hand, Darbhanga DMCH superintendent Dr Harishankar Mishra told that he does not have any land related documents.
However, he has definitely confirmed that at present DMCH has 227 acres of land and its measurement has also been done. Apart from this, he told that the relatives of Darbhanga Maharaj had also asked him for land related information but neither they have any evidence, nor DMCH has any land related deed. In such a situation, how much land was actually donated, then only the taker and the donor would know.
Chief Minister had said this thing
Let us inform that the decision to build AIIMS on the land of DMCH in Darbhanga was taken by the Bihar government, then the announcement of providing 200 acres of land for it was made by the government, after which the resolution was also passed by both the houses. But on December 16, 2021, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar himself reached Darbhanga and held a high-level meeting for the construction of AIIMS. After this, he told the media that AIIMS would now be constructed on 150 acres instead of 200 acres. The remaining 50 acres of land will be given to DMCH. That is, DMCH will be expanded on 77 acres of land.
