Israel-Lebanon Conflict Row: 15 soldiers, including an Israeli commander, lost their lives in Lebanon amid the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. On Wednesday (October 2, 2024), the Israeli military informed that the commander of their team has been killed in Lebanon. This is the first war-related death announced by Israel since its incursion into Lebanon. According to the reports of news agency ‘Reuters’ and ‘Sky News’, the deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Captain Eitan Itzhak Oster. He was posted in ‘Ego’s Unit’.
Meanwhile, ‘Sky News Arabia’ was informed by Israeli sources that 14 Israeli soldiers have been killed during the clashes in southern Lebanon. What was America’s statement on Middle East?
On the other hand, America has strongly condemned Iran’s attack on Israel. The US bluntly told Iran, “Do not attack Israel in the future. Iran should also stop proxy terrorist organizations from carrying out attacks. America will not hesitate in protecting interests and troops in the Middle East. America is committed to protecting Israel.” .”
Iran’s supreme leader warned Hezbollah chief
Meanwhile, ‘Reuters’ report quoting sources said that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had warned Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah about the Israeli conspiracy. According to Iranian sources, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had warned Hezbollah leader Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah to flee Lebanon a few days before he was killed in an Israeli attack.
