13 thousand trains will run in 50 days of Kumbh, trains scheduled for Chitrakoot-Ayodhya-Banaras also

Mahakumbh Prayagraj 2025: The final preparations for Mahakumbh are going on in full swing in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Devotees are going to arrive not only from every corner of the country but also from abroad. In such a situation, let us look at what facilities will be provided by the Railways for those who will reach Prayagraj through train, how many trains will run and what special arrangements will be made. North Central Railway is running 13 thousand trains for Mahakumbh. Of these, 10 thousand will be regular trains and 3 thousand will be special trains.

Regarding the special trains for Mahakumbh, North Central Railway official Shashikant Tripathi said, “A total of 13 thousand trains will run during the 50 days of Mahakumbh fair as well as the 2 to 3 days before and after it. Out of these 13 thousand trains, 10,000 will be regular trains and 3,000 will be special trains. There are 700 Mela special trains for long distances. “At the same time, about 1800 short distance trains will run for 200-300 kilometers.”

Trains scheduled to go to other pilgrimage sites also

North Central Railway official Shashikant Tripathi said, “We are also running a ring rail for devotees wishing to go to Chitrakoot, Banaras and Ayodhya including Prayagraj. This train will run in the circuit starting from Prayagraj.”

Convenience regarding health also

Not only trains but Railways has also taken many steps keeping in mind the health of the devotees. Special arrangements have been made by the Railways for the pilgrims at Prayagraj railway stations. A 24-hour observation room has been arranged for any emergency.

Machines ready for heart related problems

Talking about the last Mahakumbh, Railways had provided first medical aid to one lakh people. This time too, Railways wants that a large number of devotees should get the best health facilities. ECG machines and defibrillators have been installed in these observation rooms for heart related problems. Many machines like oxygen concentrator and glucometer have been installed for sugar patients.
